Please read these instructions carefully and follow them closely to ensure that the review and publication of your paper is as efficient and quick as possible. The editorial team reserves the right to return manuscripts that are not in accordance with these instructions.

Submissions

Participants are invited to electronically submit original, unpublished research contributions or experience reports not concurrently submitted elsewhere.
The submission is not mandatory to participate the workshop. The participants can access to the REGISTRATION link to register.

Abstract Submission

All abstracts must be 400-500 words long and written in English. Submission format for full paper shall be following the template. All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed to maintain high quality presentations. Only papers, presented at the conference by one of the listed authors and duly registered for the conference, will be retained in the conference proceedings.
Abstracts must include title and authors (first name surname), and indicate the presenter by underlining the name and providing that author’s contact details: affiliations, department, full address (street, city, state/province, and country), telephone, fax, and Email. Selected keywords are also required to be included in submitted abstract. This would be beneficial for your papers to be assigned to proper conference sessions.

Full Paper Submission

Please first download Manuscript Templates for preparing papers for conference proceedings. The length limit of the full paper is 6 pages, but at least 4 pages, in the format of the template. Please strictly follow the template to prepare your paper, otherwise, the paper would be rejected.

Publications

Authors can choose to submit either an abstract or a full paper. A selection of high quality abstract/papers, after refined, will be recommended to the
   Special Issue on Geocomputation for Social Sciences, Transactions in GIS.

Requirement

POSTER DIMENSIONS

The maximum dimensions of your poster should be 90 cm wide and 120 cm high (portrait orientation).
In order to fit the poster board, your poster should not exceed the recommended size. Prepare your material beforehand so that it will fit the space available and can be easily attached to the board. Thin cardboard is more suitable than paper. The organizers will provide suitable fixing materials, and onsite assistance will be available to help you to display your poster.

【Meeting Notice】Oral Presentations Requirements


ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Oral presentations are accompanied by PowerPoint presentations. The speakers are entirely responsible for the presentation content (order, graphics etc…). Once onsite, each speaker should also verify in the Final program that the room and the time of the session did not change.

TIME OF PRESENTATION

Time reserved for your presentation is 15 minutes + 3 minutes of discussion for normal presentations. Actual timing of each of your presentations will be available in the Final Program.

FORMAT OF PRESENTATION

Please make sure your presentation is in a commonly compatible format. Please prepare your presentation preferably using PowerPoint version 2010 or 2013 (although versions 2007 / 2003 are also supported).

Supported file types:

Presentation: PPT, PPA, PPTA, PPTX, PDF,  (Keynote - is only accepted in the Slide preview room onsite and will be converted into ppt)

Video: AVI, MPG, MKV, MOV, MP4, WMV Audio: WMA, MP3, WAV Pictures: JPG, GIF, BMP, TIF

Do not forget, when saving your final presentation to CD or USB stick, to make sure to include your video files, if any, and all links to these multimedia files.

IN THE LECTURE ROOM

Your presentation will be sent directly to the lecture room through the local network. Once the presentation is launched on the computer in the respective lecture room, you will advance your own slideshow using the remote control.

All speakers are requested to be present in the lecture room 5 minutes before the session starts to meet with the session chair. Please, do NOT come at the last minute with your own computer into the lecture room: you will NOT BE ABLE to connect it. All presentations must be uploaded to the Computer in the Lecture Room in advance. Use of own computers is not recommended.
