floor Leisure Hall, LIESMARS, Wuhan University.
An exchange meeting between LIESMARS, Wuhan University, and the HI-TARGET company was held. Various students from different countries attended.
In the beginning, Mr. Pan (MSc, Wuhan University, presently, the HI-TARGET chief product officer) gave a very informative talk related to Geospatial Technologies.
He covered three main points in his interesting presentation. At first, he introduced the past, current, and future growth in geospatial technologies. He highlighted the trends in the development and improvements in geospatial technologies, such as software, hardware, and artificial intelligence. The last section related to jobs in companies and further cooperation.

After the presentation, there was an open discussion among Mr. Pan, teachers, and international students from LIESMARS, with an in depth conversation about job opportunities in either HI-TARGET or alternative business. The great thing is that many persons have different mentalities, experiences, and cultural backgrounds, sharing ideas smoothly in a way that will support future cooperation with HI-TARGET.

The talk touched upon the logistics and strategies for starting your own geospatial technology-related business or career as an effective team member, networking with HI-TARGET, one of the biggest companies in Geospatial Technology with many global branches. Indeed, it is not easy to connect this easily.

Students have great ideas and good strategies to grow their careers. HI-TARGET provides Internship opportunities during summer vacation for LIESMARS students to explore the latest updates in the geospatial technology field as well as be aware with the newest geomatics equipment.
