On the morning of September 11, 2019, more than 60 students and teachers of the Project Cases course visited the Huawei Development Centre in Wuhan to learn about the state-of-the-art technology and the requirements of the industry first hand.
In the product display zone, students gravitated to the “Hongmeng OS” exhibit, introducing the latest domestic operating system equipped with Huawei's Honor smart screen. Students experienced advanced technical products on site as the staff vividly demonstrated new features, including the Huawei smart city IOC and smart park architectures.
In the VR experience zone, students heatedly discussed applications and prospects of VR technology in teaching and research.
The new Project Cases course, was launched in March 2019. In this class, students are exposed to successful cases presented by 11 industry leaders, including pioneers or business founders. This course aims to cultivate first-class and outstanding innovative talents. This course not only broadens student horizons and improves their understanding of innovation, but also enables students to put theories into practice and unleash their entrepreneurship.
