Dr Christophe Claramunt is a professor in computer science and the research chair of the French Naval Academy and deputy director of the ISBlue interdisciplinary graduate school for the blue planet (www.isblue.fr). He was previously a senior lecturer in computing at the Nottingham Trent University and senior researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. His research is oriented towards theoretical, computational and pluri-disciplinary aspects of geographical information science and systems. He has widely published in the domains of computer science and geographical information science and he is an associate editor of the International Journal on Geographical Information Science and he is acting in the editorial board of several major journals in the field of GIS. He is also one of the founders of the regular symposium on Web and Wireless GIS which is regularly held and attract acting researchers and academics in that field.

Dr. Shih-Lung Shaw, Department of Geography, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA
Dr. Shaw is an elected Fellow of the American Association for Advancement of Science (AAAS) and a recipient of the Edward L. Ullman Award for outstanding contributions to the field of transportation geography and the Outstanding Scholar Award in Regional Development and Planning from the Association of American Geographers (AAG). Dr. Shaw holds Alvin and Sally Beaman Professorship and Arts and Sciences Excellence Professorship at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is the lead editor of Springer’s Human Dynamics in Smart Cities book series and an editorial board member of several academic journals, including international journal of Geographic Information Science, Journal of Transport GeographyTravel Behaviour and Society. He served as the Department Head from 2007 to 2010 and Interim Associate Provost for International Education in 2017-2018.

Research interests: transportation geography, geographic information science (GIScience), space-time analytics, and human dynamics, especially on topics related to transportation planning and modeling, air transportation, time geography, effects of information and communications technologies (ICT) on human dynamics, space-time GIS, and GIS for transportation (GIS-T).

Dr. Qingquan Li, Shenzhen University.
Dr. Li is an Academician of International Eurasian Academy of Science, the president of Shenzhen University. He is Deputy director for Faulty of Geosciences and Environment Resources in Science and Technology Commission of Ministry of Education, Member of Modern Transportation Expert Boards for National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program), Chair of ISPRS Commission II WG II/7, Founding Chairman of ACM SIGSPATIAL China Branch. He found the Guangdong Key Laboratory of Urban Informatics and the Key Laboratory of Big Bay Area Environment Monitoring, Ministry of Natural Resources.

Research Interests: His interests focus on precise engineering survey. He has developed several key technologies, including the synchronization and integration of multi-sensors, multi-source data fusion and analysis, vehicle monitoring and mobile asset management system, continuous measurement of road deflection.

Dr. Yu Liu is Boya Professor of GIScience at the Institute of Remote Sensing and Geographical Information Systems, Peking University. His research interests focus on analytical methods for various big geo-data. The term "social sensing" coined by Dr. Liu's team has attracted much attention from academia. He has conducted about 10 research projects as PI or Co-PI granted by NSFC (National Science Foundation of China) and MOST (Ministry of Science and Technology) of China.
