Academic events

(1) A week after ICARS£¬professor Orhan was invited to visit Wuhan University Campus, and have academic exchanges with students in professor Zhenfeng Shao's research group.

(2) At the International Conference on Advanced Remote Sensing (ICARS) on Oct. 16-18, 2018, Wuhan University, professor Orhan gave us a talk on some issues of urban sustainable development, such as waterlogging problem in wuhan and its relations to high percentage of impervious surface.


    (3) In the summer of 2018, professor Orhan was invited to visit our lab (LIESMAS) and have academic exchanges with students in the team of Zhenfeng Shao. At this meeting, he served as the second supervisor for foreign students (the first supervisor is Zhenfeng Shao).

    (4) On June 3, 2018, Prof. Jingming Chen was invited to have academic exchanges with students in the team of Zhenfeng Shao.




    (5) On December 19, 2017, Professor John Trinder, former president of the International Association of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, presented the award to Professor Shao Zhenfeng at the first International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data.


    (6) From 22-26 April 2013, Zhang Lei and Wang Yuqian participated in the "35th International Conference on Environmental Remote Sensing (ISRSE35)" held in Beijing.



    (7) From 24-28 March 2013, Chen Min and Zhou Xiran participated in the "ASPRS 2013 Annual Conference" held in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.



    (8) On December 16-18, 2012, Shao Zhenfeng and Zhou Xiran participated in the "International Conference on Remote Sensing Computer Vision (2012CVRS)" held in Xiamen.



    (9) On December 15, 2012, Luo Hui participated in the 4th International Conference on Information Science and Engineering (ISISE2012) held in Shanghai.

Outdoor activities

    (1) Parameter (such as tree height, diameter?at?breast?heigh) collection of aboveground biomass in selected sample area in Hengqin New District, Zhuhai, China, in the summer of 2018.

     

    (2) Spectral measurement of urban impervious surface in Qingshan District, which is Sponge City Demonstration Zone in Wuhan City, in April, 2018.

    (3) Noise measurement of air quality in Donghu Nanhu Lake in February 2015.



    (4) Inner Mongolia Hu Yang measurement in October 2014.



    (5) Spectral measurement of rare plants in Jiuzhaigou in September 2014.
