A Two-day Internship for International Students at LIESMARS

An internship tour for international students at LIESMARS was held from April 21st -22nd, . About 13 International students from LIESMARS visited several Wuhan enterprises to experience GeoInformatics applications.

The first stop was Hi-Cloud Co. , Ltd., a Hi-Target subsidiary. On the morning of the 21st, the Hi-Cloud technical experts introduced the laser radar technology, GNSS principles and RTK solutions. In the afternoon, the students participated in a demonstration and operations of data acquisition and accurate and efficent surveying under the guidance of technical experts.

This is also the fourth LIESMARS—Hi-Target International Students Internship, which has been held since 2017. Each year, Hi-Target sponsors all LIESMARS international and some Chinese students to Hi-Target for a one-week internship. This Hi-Target activity provides technical support and talent training to developing countries.
